DR. SYDNEY REICHIN
LAB DIRECTOR
Sydney Reichin is an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist specializing in predicting, understanding, and addressing workplace deviance. Her research focuses on personality, implicit motives, and psychometric assessments, particularly related to maladaptive traits such as the motive to aggress. Recently, she has expanded her work to include security, terrorism, and targeted violence, striving to enhance resilience against attacks on soft targets and to improve threat evaluation and mitigation in workplace settings.

JAMES PETERS
LAB MANAGER
James Peters is a graduate student pursuing his M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at NC State. Specializing in criterion theory and methodology, he is currently collaborating with researchers to develop a risk assessment tool to enhance security and resilience for soft targets, particularly K-12 schools. James' broader research examines the intersection of performance and well-being, an area he continues to actively explore in his scholarly work.
